Francis immortalized Manila Hotel’s Centennial Celebration by showcasing his “100 Collection” of gowns using banana and pineapple fibers with mother-of-pearl embellishments. After this successful fashion gala, Franciswas invited to present his 100 couture collection as highlight of the 1stCanada Philippine Fashion Week in June 2013. Since then, people who love fashion couldn’t stop raving for his unique designs. He wowed Japan when he attended the 2013 Fashion Show in Tokyo, Japan as Philippines lone representative. Francis presented a uniquereproduction of Japan’s National Dress “Kimono”, infusing it with Philippines’ Maria Clara attire. It was the most-applauded and highly-praised feature during the event.
In October of the same year, he participated in Portland, Oregon’s Fashion Week Festival dubbed as “FashioNXT’. He showcased his own Spring/Summer 2014 Collection forecasting next year’s fashion trends. Topping the list of his laurels during that year was dressing Megan Young during the gown competition of Miss World 2013. Megan won the prestigious title after almost 50 years. Francis Libiran once again fascinated the world’s rich, famous and stylish ladies.
