DAVAO EVENTS SUPPLIERS ASSOCIATION aim to provide quality service and perform significant role in professional support to the industry. Their mission is to strengthen the bond, improve the professionalism among its members with profitability of member businesses  through effective representation in the community and government affairs, among others, and by effectively identifying and meeting the needs of the clients.

Why was DESA created ?

DESA was created in the hope that they can unite all the events suppliers in the region into a single organization and make it work as a one stop shop for all the event needs of the citizens of Davao. It aims to establish a database of information pertaining to each member’s profile and services that will made available to the public. It will conduct trainings that may help improve each member’s services to give its clients the best experience. It hopes to foster friendship and establish better working relationship among its members through fund raising events and other socializations that may be organized by DESA.

In line with this, we encourage all suppliers and members of the event industry in Davao City to unite and join DESA.

What can you expect from DESA?
DESA aims to spearhead the development, planning and execution of events, including the delivery of holistic and strategic directions, with the goal of achieving positive benefits, creating beneficial impacts and experiences not only for the organizers, clients and the host community, but also for the event participants, audiences, guests, sponsors, and the media.

DESA also wishes to inspire a collective spirit of professionalism among its members by creating an avenue of information dissemination, camaraderie among members through their continuing education and training, introduction of new and challenging ideas, and updates on event management and technology.

You can expect that DESA is committed to protect the interests of the trusting public by making sure members are legitimate professionals and of good standing as well as protect the interests of its members from scrupulous individuals.

The founding Officers of DESA, together with its enthusiastic board and members, are at the forefront of these initiatives. Though the tasks are overwhelming, they are fully committed to increase the level of professionalism among its members through education and further training, create an air of cooperation rather than competition and protect the interests of both its member and their clients.
